Challenge
Wears For You manufactures custom apparel for business buyers who place bulk orders from anywhere in the world. The existing site presented the company as a local retailer rather than a manufacturer, buried the product range, and gave international buyers no clear way to send a specification and get a quote. Most enquiries arrived through channels that were hard to track, so there was no picture of which products or pages actually drove business.
Approach
We treated it as a lead-generation site first and a catalogue second. The work started with a content and structure plan: which product categories earn their own pages, what a buyer needs to see before they enquire, and how an enquiry should be captured and routed. The design followed the MarkLogix build standard, with a mobile-first layout, fast-loading imagery and schema markup from the start.
What we built
- A structured product catalogue on WooCommerce, organised by garment type and use case rather than a flat product list
- Category and product pages written for the terms international buyers actually search, with specifications presented clearly enough to quote against
- An enquiry flow with the standard MarkLogix lead-tracking fields, so every submission is tagged with the page it came from
- SEO foundations: meta structure, clean URLs, an XML sitemap, image compression and Core Web Vitals brought into the green before handover
- Analytics and Search Console configured in the client's own accounts
Outcome
The site now positions Wears For You as a manufacturer to a worldwide audience, with a catalogue that is navigable and an enquiry path that is measurable. The client owns every account, and enquiries are attributable to the product pages that produce them, which gives a clear basis for the next round of content and optimisation work. This project is presented as project work; no performance figures are published without the client's written approval.
