Challenge
Global Thunder Trade deals across several product lines and needed a website that made each line easy to understand and easy to enquire about. The previous site tried to show everything at once: dense pages, unclear navigation, and no obvious next step for a buyer who had found what they wanted. The result was a site that technically contained the information but did not lead anyone to an enquiry.
Approach
The engagement started with UI/UX work rather than visual design. We mapped the handful of journeys a buyer actually takes, cut the navigation down to what those journeys need, and wireframed each key page around a single clear action. Only once the structure was approved did visual design begin, following the MarkLogix build standard for speed, accessibility and mobile-first layout.
What we built
- A simplified information architecture: each product line on its own page, with a consistent structure so buyers know where to look
- Wireframes and full visual design for every key page, approved before build
- A direct enquiry path on every product page, with the standard lead-tracking fields so submissions are tagged by source
- A responsive build tested across phone, tablet and desktop widths
- SEO foundations and analytics configured in the client's own accounts
Outcome
The site now presents each product line clearly and gives every page a single obvious next step. Navigation is simple enough that a first-time visitor can find a product line and send an enquiry without guessing. The client owns the site, the hosting and the analytics outright. This is presented as project work; no performance figures are published without the client's written approval.
